A second-year student will have to take Anatomy (Part-11), Physiology (Part-11), Pathology (paraclinical subject) and Electropathy (materia medica) during their second year.
In the third year year, some of the subjects that will be appearing for exam are ophthalmology, ENT, gynecology, and practice of electropathy medicine (Part-1)
There are three exams that the student will sit in the final year: Surgery, Obstetrics and Pediatrics, Medical Jurisprudence, as well as Practice of Electropathy Medicine (Part-11).
The internship program
The student is eligible for internship once he/she completes all four years with all the subjects listed and has successfully passed all four years. A electro-homoeopathic clinic requires this form of treatment.
The case files will be prepared for 250 different diseased conditions based on hospital and clinical cases in each department. It will be the responsibility of the Principal/Head of Department to ensure that before issuance of an internship certificate, all case files must be completed in all respects. Additionally, it is provided that for such a trainee, a certificate of satisfactory completion of training shall be obtained from the relevant administrative authorities. This certificate shall be countersigned by the principal/dean of the College.
During the first year of the program, admissions typically begin around June or July of the given year.
